Directions
The Simsbury Public Library is located on Routes
10/202. It is the third building on the LEFT northward past the
intersection of Route 167.
Via I-91: Take
Exit 35B, Bissell Bridge to Route218. Turn onto West Wolcott Avenue (a
RIGHT turn from I-91 South, a LEFT turn from I-91 North). Follow West
Wolcott Avenue to the intersection of Route 185, and turn RIGHT onto
Route 185. Follow Route 185 to the intersection of Routes 10/202, and
turn RIGHT onto intersection of Routes 10/202, and turn RIGHT onto
Routes 10/202.
Via I-84:
Take Exit 39, Route 4, Farmington. Follow Route 4 to the intersection
of Routes 10/202 (Waterville Road), and turn RIGHT onto Routes 10/202
North. At the intersection of Route 44, turn LEFT onto Route 44 West.
Continue a short distance, and turn RIGHT onto Routes 10/202 North (Hopmeadow
Street).

How to Get a Library Card

You must be a resident of Simsbury.

You must present a valid form of identification
with your name and current address (driver's license, checkbook,
or cancelled mail).

Out of state employees working in Simsbury may
apply for an "In-house" card which is valid for one year and is
kept at the circulation desk.

Loan Periods
Material may be borrowed with a hometown library
card from another public library in Connecticut.
Simsbury residents may use their cards at any public library in
Connecticut.
Borrowed materials may be returned to any Connecticut public
library.
Interlibrary Loan
Materials not owned by the library may be requested by calling the
Reference Desk.
