Apply for a Passport

Applications are accepted through appointment only.

You may apply for a NEW passport at the Simsbury Public Library. Before scheduling an appointment, we suggest you visit the official website for the most current up-to-date passport and international travel information and our tip sheet 

If you are interested in making an appointment, please call the Library Information Desk at 860-658-7663 and press #2 for assistance. You must schedule a one half hour appointment per applicant. If you cannot make an appointment with us, you may search the passport facilities page to find other locations in the area.

Please note: We are unable to take passport photos. Passport photos are regulated by law and need to fit legal requirements, 2″ X 2″. Passport photos can be taken at:

  • Your local AAA office, 70 E Main St, Avon (860) 409-2800
